Ship timing

Your kit arrives 2 business days before your first rehearsal via UPS Ground. We schedule delivery so you have a buffer to unpack, plug in, and run a sound check before the first performer walks in. If you need a kit faster than Ground can deliver, expedited 2-day and overnight service are available for rush orders (see Weekend and rush shipping below).

Zone pricing

• Zone 1 — $39 round-trip. Our home region: Northeast and Mid-Atlantic corridor. Typically 1-2 day Ground transit.
• Zone 2 — $59 round-trip. Midwest, Southeast, and near-Mid-Atlantic. 2-3 day Ground transit.
• Zone 3 — $89 round-trip. Texas, Mountain West, Plains, and Pacific Northwest. 3-4 day Ground transit.
• Zone 4 — $249 round-trip. Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico. 4-6 day transit depending on destination.

Weekend and rush shipping

For Saturday performances, order by Wednesday 2pm ET for guaranteed Friday arrival on Ground. If you're closer to the wire, we offer two rush tiers for short-notice orders (less than 48 hours before first rehearsal): add +$75 for 2-day air or +$175 for overnight. To request a rush order, email hello@rentmickits.com with the subject line URGENT and your event date — we triage rush emails within 30 minutes during business hours.

What's included

• Outbound shipping label (we print and apply before the kit leaves the shop).
• Pre-paid return label inside the case, clipped to the laminated quick-start card.
• Shipping insurance for the full replacement value of the kit.
• No delivery signature required — UPS will leave the case at your door or loading dock.

If the kit arrives late

Panic path: call or text the on-call number in your confirmation email within 2 hours of expected delivery. We will overnight a replacement kit from our warehouse at no charge, or — for short-notice gigs where overnight is too slow — arrange a local rental partner swap from our network of affiliate shops in major metros. Either way, you get a working kit in time for the show.

If the kit arrives damaged

Open the case, photograph any damage to the case exterior, interior, elements, bodypacks, or receivers, and email the photos to hello@rentmickits.com within 24 hours of delivery. We overnight a replacement kit at no charge and file the UPS claim ourselves. You do not pay for damage that happened in transit.

Return

When your show is done, pack the kit back the way you found it using the labeled foam cutouts and the checklist on the laminated quick-start card. Peel the pre-paid return label off the card, stick it on the case, and drop it at any UPS location. No return appointment, no pickup window, no paperwork.
